FREQUENTLY ASKED
Questions people commonly ask
No. We provide independent service, consulting, and assessments. We aren’t a sales channel for any specific elevator or accessibility lift manufacturer. Where we provide brand guidance, it’s based on the equipment that fits your situation, not what we’re trying to sell.
No. RightLift provides independent assessments and condition reports — we do not perform TSSA inspections or issue regulatory certifications. Those are separate processes performed by authorized inspectors.
Most condition reports, quote reviews, and pre-purchase assessments are returned within 5–10 business days, depending on equipment access, scope, and the urgency of your situation. Rush requests can usually be accommodated.
Yes — those are our primary service areas, but we also support surrounding Eastern and Northern Ontario communities. Reach out with your location and we’ll confirm.
Yes. We can help with active elevator issues including service, repair, troubleshooting recurring problems, and reviewing repair recommendations from other companies.
That’s one of our most common requests. Send the quote (and any related documents) and we’ll do a focused review of what’s being proposed and what questions to ask before approving.
Pricing depends on the scope, location, and equipment type. We’re straightforward about pricing upfront — reach out with your situation and we’ll give you a clear estimate before any work begins.
Yes — reports are written in plain language and designed to be shareable. Many of our customers use them to inform family members, property managers, contractors, or boards of directors.
Yes. Pre-purchase elevator assessments are a key service — helping buyers understand what they’re inheriting before closing on a property with an existing elevator or accessibility lift.
Yes. Project coordination across trades is a core part of what we do. We help bridge the gap between elevator companies, contractors, electricians, and framers — so installations go smoothly.
